Carolyn Harrison

Ms. Harrison started volunteering weekly in 2009 to help students learn to read. During that time she entered a doctoral program in Education at Pepperdine University. Her focus of study is the impact of neuroscience on teaching strategies in K-6 learning environments.In addition, she has earned a certificate in neuroeducational science from UC, Santa Barbara, a BA in Communication from USC and an MBA in systems management from Pepperdine. A full-time paraprofessional since 2013, Ms. Harrison finds her experience at Cheremoya deeply rewarding because of the generosity of administration, faculty, students and parents who like her are dedicated to helping students learn.
